Schools are more engaged on environmental activity than ever before but until now it’s rarely been about fashion and clothes.

We’re talking to Year 12 and 13 students across London to offer assemblies, PSHE days, enrichment workshops, clothes swaps, screenings and loads more.

If you’d like your school to get involved contact us at hello@lovenotlandfill.org.

 John Roan School

We went to the John Roan School Post 16 Centre in Greenwich to talk fashion and the environment. The students watched and took part in our assembly, created denim patches with Barley Massey from Fabrications, came up with communications campaigns (see ideas on the right) to help fill up the Love Not Landfill Clothes Bank that’s now in their school and swapped their clothes.

 Eltham Hill School

Prior to attending the school to present to sixthform sudents during their morning assembly about fashion and the environment, the school had a #LoveNotLandfill clothes bank on site for a total of 4 weeks. Later on that day, during an afternoon session, we worked with two groups students to come up with communications campaigns that would increase awareness throughout the school about the banks presence and the swap shop event.
